teaching: Project Design @ Code & Context | July, Cologne

I am looking forward to teaching together with Anne Karrenbrock at Code & Context again.

Project Design invites the students to design and produce their own Soldering-Kit. The students already designed their own PCB with a focus on body measurement and data in the course of Pr. Dr. Christian Faubel and learned about social elements, communication and social hubs with Pr. Dr. Laura Popplow.

In Project Design everything comes together, the students will work in teams, pick a PCB to go with and create an activating narrative, packaging and instructions, to attract kids to soldering. I enjoy teaching and guiding with the human and playful part in putting together the Workshop-Kits, including the demanding task to write easy but informative instructions for a hopefully useful device and a fun soldering experience.
